    Understanding Veteran Care

Veterans often face unique challenges and health issues as a result of their military service, ranging from physical injuries to mental health conditions such as PTSD. Our Veteran care services are designed to provide comprehensive support and assistance tailored to address these specific needs, ensuring that Veterans receive the care and respect they deserve.

    Our Approach to Veteran Care

We understand that Veterans have unique experiences and needs that require specialized knowledge and understanding. That's why our caregivers undergo specialized training to provide expert support and assistance to Veterans, whether it's helping with activities of daily living, providing transportation to medical appointments, or simply offering a listening ear. Our goal is to ensure that Veterans receive the respect, dignity, and support they deserve as they navigate life after service.

    The Benefits of Veteran Care

Veteran care offers numerous benefits for those who have served our country, including access to specialized services and support tailored to their unique needs and experiences. From assistance with navigating VA benefits to providing emotional support and companionship, veteran care can significantly enhance quality of life and promote well-being for both veterans and their families.

  • Homemaker and Home Health Aide

A Homemaker is a trained individual who provides personal care services to Veterans in their own home. These services help Veterans with daily activities and allow them to live independently. Homemakers are supervised by a registered nurse who assesses the Veteran's daily living needs.

This program is for Veterans who need assistance with activities of daily living, have caregivers experiencing a burden, or Veterans who are isolated and in need of companionship. Homemaker services can be used in combination with other Home and Community-Based Services.

  • Respite Care

Respite Care is a program that pays for care for a short time when family caregivers need a break, need to run errands, or need to go out of town for a few days. Respite Care can be helpful to Veterans of all ages, and their caregiver.

Home Respite Care is a service that pays for a person to come to a Veteran's home while their family caregiver takes a break or runs errands.

The program is for Veterans who need help with activities of daily living, Veterans who are isolated, or whose caregiver is experiencing a burden.

Respite Care can help lower the stress the Veterans and their family caregiver may feel when managing a Veteran's short-term or long-term care needs at home.
